The needleless flu vaccine

The next flu vaccine could be painless and avoid biohazards. CNN has reports from the Georgia Tech and Emory University where they have developed a patch that dissolves while delivering the flu vaccine. This has only been tested on mice, but could be rolled out in a few years. It may not replace the flu vaccine shot, but in five years, it could provide an alternative for children and those afraid of needles.
