Purdue University develops new patch

In a follow up from our post on September 1, Purdue University has developed a new patch that can painlessly delivery drugs. The pump is powered by liquid fluorocarbon, which has a low boiling point. It is activated when user places the patch on their skin. The micro-needles are so tiny that the user feels no pain. Drugs that can be delivered with the patch include pain killers, hormones, insulin and cancer treatments. Read the full article here.
